Yes — compact homes are some of our favorite design problems. Smart storage, space-saving layouts, pass-through windows, and lighting that makes rooms feel bigger all go further in a PB cottage than almost anywhere else. Every square foot gets a job.
Most remodels involving plumbing, electrical, or structural work need a permit from the City of San Diego, and Pacific Beach sits within the Coastal Overlay Zone, which can add review for certain projects. We handle the permitting path end to end and build it into your schedule.
Salt air and sand are hard on budget-grade materials. We lean on porcelain and quartz surfaces, marine-grade and coated hardware, moisture-resistant cabinetry, and easy-clean tile in high-traffic zones — finishes that look right for the beach and keep looking right. With planning. Crews coordinate arrival times and consolidate vehicles, deliveries are scheduled for off-peak hours, and for larger projects we arrange temporary permits where the city allows. Your neighbors matter to the project too.
